The Institute-Level Center is the core technical support unit of the Institute. It is responsible for the management and operation of large-scale shared instruments within the Institute and serves analysis and testing as well as related R&D of instruments and equipment in fields such as advanced nuclear energy and nuclear technology. Based on the characteristics of analysis and testing, the Center is divided into three specialized platforms: the Comprehensive Experimental Platform for Liquid Metal Loops and Materials Technology, the Comprehensive Experimental Platform for High-Intensity Radiation Physics and Detection Technology, and the Comprehensive Experimental Platform for Advanced Nuclear Energy System Simulation and Nuclear Technology.

The Institute-Level Center adheres to the philosophy of “open sharing, service to society, and support for innovation.” It is committed to building an advanced instrument science platform in the field of nuclear energy safety technology research, developing a high-caliber professional technical team, and promoting the output of major scientific research achievements and regional economic development. All instruments of the Center have been integrated into the Large-Scale Instrument Sharing Management System of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Users from within and outside the Institute are welcome to make reservations and use them through the CAS Instrument and Equipment Sharing Management Platform (http://samp.ac.cn).
