Dr. Minoru TAKAHASHI, Professor of Research Laboratory for Nuclear Reactor, Tokyo Institute of Technology, visited INEST • FDS Team on December 12nd and were warmly welcomed by Prof.Qunying Huang and other FDS team members.

Dr. Minoru TAKAHASHI presented the preparation of “Mechanisms of Various Phenomena Appearing in Nuclear Engineering”, and then introduced the key issues of thermal hydraulic and material of PWR, SLF, LFR and fusion reactor ‘safety problems. During the meeting, FDS team members have closed discussion with Dr. TAKAHASHI about the material corrosion and thermal hydraulic mechanism.

Both sides of FDS team and TIT would like to make cooperation deeply and widely in the future on R&D of some key subsystems and technology of liquid metal loops for ADS and fusion reactor.
