INEST·FDS Team's Project of Nuclear Energy Databank Were Appreciated |

2014 Year-end Inspection and Seminars for the "Twelfth Five " Special Project in Informatization named Technical Data Resource Integration and Share Task, organized by the Computer Network Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held in Nanjing on November 26, 2014. INEST•FDS Team is responsible for the project of "Nuclear Basic Sciences Data Integration and Application " and progress of the project was highly affirmed and evaluated by the expert panel. INEST•FDS Team gave introduction for the functions of data management system, data integration and online data services. And now the unified authentication based on E-science passport and data access under classification has been available; nuclear technical data from the Institute of High Energy Physics of CAS and from the Institute of Modern Physics of CAS has been integrated in the data bank; and the volume of data bank is up to 300G bytes and more than 1000,000 records. Several online data services have been pushed onto the internet, including primary nuclear cross section analysis and visualization, nuclear data library generation for reactor design, etc. The project supervision members and headers from Computer Network Center of CAS valued our work about the integration of technical data from the three institutes and R&D of online data services. In order to further promote the comprehensive application of nuclear energy data bank and sharing, INEST•FDS Team will focus on deeper integration of different data sets available. At the same time, we are going to enlarge the cooperation partners to the whole nuclear energy field to improve the volume of data bank, and to optimize the online data services towards all the customs in the nuclear energy field. And also we will make more efforts to evaluate the data sets and assurance the quality of data bank, and provide authoritative data services for development of nuclear energy application.
